Requirements:
U.S. citizenship Active NACI clearance required Bachelor's degree Minimum three (3) years of experience administering benefits programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong understanding of Veteran Affairs benefits and compensation programs Good analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to be an active listener and adapt to caller persona Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Customer Service experience Ability to work self-sufficiently and productively Experience with Military Benefits is a plus
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and emails from customers about administrative actions Educate and advise callers on military benefits and resources Identify and coordinate advocacy on behalf of Veterans, service members, or their Family members Determine the nature of inquiries and provide accurate answers Refer clients to appropriate military or community resources Provide prompt and empathetic communication via phone and email Respond to complex questions requiring research of DOD and VA policies Document client interactions in a CRM program Facilitate retirement estimate calculations (if applicable)
