Minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience with a strong emphasis on classification and position management. Proven expertise in interpreting and applying OPM classification standards, DoD policies, and position management guidance. Demonstrated ability to conduct audits, analyze organizational structures, and provide recommendations. Strong communication and advisory skills. Active SECRET security clearance.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance on classification, position management, and organizational structure issues. Review and audit position descriptions and organizational structures, making recommendations for improvement. Oversee classification for positions under AD and GS pay schedules. Conduct position management evaluations to improve work distribution and workforce utilization. Provide advisory services, adjudicate classification appeals, and support responses to new classification standards. Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, processing, and assignment support.
