Requirements
- Current certification as a Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse
- 2+ years of experience in an outpatient setting preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMRs
- Lactation certification (IBCLC, CLC, CLE) preferred, but not required
- Bilingual, Spanish skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Act as the first line of call in clinical communications for patients
- Administer injections and medications
- Provide direct clinical care for minor check-in visits or lab draws
- Provide supporting paperwork and education for patients
- Support clinic visits as appropriate
- Support the everyday flow of clinic as back up support for MA
- Maintaining logs
- Cleaning of rooms and sterilization of instruments
- Obtaining and transcribing patient medical records
