Medium Voltage Specialist (Phoenix, AZ)

A bachelor’s degree in a technical field is strongly preferred. At least 3 years of experience in electrical, electronic and/or network communications. At least 3 years of experience with Medium Voltage equipment. Prior experience with Cold weld patch repairs and field transformer repairs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing SMA Large Scale MV systems in the field, via email, telephone, and site visits. Developing detailed knowledge of SMA's Medium Voltage products and accessories. Maintaining an accurate inventory count of spare parts. Working with high voltage DC, three phase power, and high AC voltage. Collaborating cross-functionally with the Global Service Organization, Quality, and Suppliers for Root Cause Analysis. Performing maintenance activities in accordance with SMA product maintenance manuals. Required weekend and/or night work is possible.
