Software Engineer II - Product (Multiple Roles)

Experience building and shipping production Rails applications. Comfortable working across the full stack, including JavaScript and CSS. Comfortable leveraging modern LLM-powered tools. A testing mindset, with experience writing automated tests in Minitest or RSpec. Comfortable debugging and troubleshooting production issues. Able to work independently on well-defined projects while collaborating closely with a small team. Clear communicator who can explain technical challenges and trade-offs effectively.

Build and maintain features, owning them from initial discussions through to deployment. Work closely with the product team and other stakeholders to shape and refine new features. Dedicate time to app maintenance – at least 20% – improving stability, performance, and developer experience. Write and maintain tests for confident production deployments. Monitor, investigate, and resolve issues to keep the system stable and performant. Collaborate with and learn from experienced engineers.
