Senior Software Engineer (Go) (Remote)

Proficient at writing advanced Go and working with large Go codebases Experience with PostgreSQL, Linux, Vue.js is strongly preferred Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs Experience writing and tuning SQL queries, and working with relational databases Experience designing and optimizing data structures / schemas and indexes in relational databases Thorough understanding of platform, database, API, caching layer, and other web services Proficiency with standard development tools and paradigms (Git, GitHub, CI/CD, etc.) Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills Knowledge of approaches for testing, debugging, profiling, and optimizing software applications Solid understanding of the HTTP protocol and the web browser security model Experience working within one of the major cloud provider environments (AWS preferred, GCP, Azure)

Develop and maintain high-quality, performant web applications using Go, Vue.js, and other technologies Build features and solve problems that frequently span front-end and back-end concerns Collaborate closely with product management, design, frontend, and backend engineers Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback Conduct thorough testing and debugging Contribute to the continuous improvement of products, technology, and practices
