Principal Machine Learning Engineer - Foundational Models

5+ years experience in building high-throughput, resilient backend systems Demonstrated expertise in deploying and maintaining ML models in production 5+ years advanced Python development experience Familiarity with data manipulation using Spark and SQL Solid foundation in machine learning Bonus: evaluating recommender systems Familiarity with modern ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow) Familiarity with model deployment frameworks leveraging container orchestration Hands-on experience with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus) Deep understanding of measuring and optimizing system latency Ability to translate complex technical concepts for cross-functional partners Driven by curiosity to explore new technologies and take calculated risks Focus on identifying and implementing best practices
