Senior Software Engineer I (Rise)

Proven track record of implementing, shipping, and maintaining production software. Strong collaboration skills, with experience working on team-based projects. Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) and backend technologies (Node.js, Postgres, Docker). Familiarity with Git/GitHub and software development best practices. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and maintain high code quality standards. Nice to have: experience with AWS services, event-driven architectures, real-time collaboration, ML/LLMs/OpenAI, multiple frontend frameworks, accessibility practices, and TypeScript expertise.

Build and enhance product features with a focus on quality, performance, and customer value. Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product leaders to define solutions and deliver impactful software. Mentor and provide guidance to junior software engineers, including code reviews and knowledge sharing. Participate in defining application architecture and contributing to system design decisions. Take part in incident response processes, identifying and addressing issues efficiently. Manage time effectively, prioritizing quality results over effort, and participate actively in a remote-first, team-oriented culture.
