Staff Data Scientist (Remote)

BS degree in engineering, computer science, finance or mathematics. 6+ years industry experience in data mining, machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling. Deep understanding of statistics and machine learning techniques. Experience building predictive models from scratch. Strong programming skills in Python. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL. Demonstrable experience with ML packages: scikit-learn, LightGBM, XGBoost, SparkML. Knowledge in deep learning and experience with DL toolkits (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch) is preferred.

Develop machine learning models for credit risk and paycheck detection. Build ML models to address business priorities and grow user base. Design and influence strategies for underwriting, marketing, fraud, and customer experience. Implement models in production with the engineering team. Develop data standards and analytics pipelines.
