Senior Software Engineer, Backend (VTEX IO)

Deep expertise in TypeScript/Node.js, and/or Go, and/or C#/.NET Experience building distributed systems, APIs, and microservices Strong database design skills Experienced in designing highly scalable systems, optimizing performance, and applying caching, load balancing, and fault tolerance mechanisms Competent with CI/CD, Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CDK/Pulumi) Understanding monitoring/logging/alerting systems Proven ability in implementing application performance monitoring, distributed tracing, and incident response Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, message queues, and advanced monitoring tools

Implement, evolve, and maintain core components of the VTEX IO Platform Develop APIs, SDKs, and developer tools Collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, specialists, and designers Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code with a focus on scalability and extensibility
