Backend Software Engineer II

3+ years of Software Engineering experience in both frontend and backend development Experience building reliable and scalable SaaS software solutions and RESTful APIs Experience with technologies such as ReactJS, Python/Django, NodeJS, Typescript, and Docker Exposure to refactoring, maintaining, and improving existing solutions Experience working with agile and software delivery best practices such as scrum/kanban, CI/CD, test automation, and infrastructure as code Solid problem-solving, technical design, and analytical skills Strong teamwork and communication skills

Implement new features in the existing application Contribute to improving the technical implementation and architecture Contribute clean, efficient, testable, and reusable code Participate in code reviews Participate in the investigation and resolution of defects Understand observability and monitoring of system behavior Learn continuously and stay up-to-date with industry trends Maintain knowledge about Procurify's products, offerings and integrations Update and maintain internal documentation resources
