Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js) – Data Integration

5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a backend focus. Proficient in Node.js and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). Hands-on experience with data integration, data engineering, and ETL tools. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Experience integrating with enterprise systems like Salesforce, Jira, Notion, and Google APIs. Familiarity with ACL, RBAC, or other enterprise-level access control systems.

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js. Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and complex data workflows. Integrate external data sources (e.g., Salesforce, Jira, Notion, Google Workspace) into our systems. Work with tools like Airbyte and other ETL/integration platforms. Implement secure and scalable enterprise permission models (e.g., ACL, RBAC). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions. Contribute to backend architecture improvements, API design, and performance optimization.
