Requirements:

• Expertise in Power BI, including creating reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Strong proficiency in DAX for creating complex calculations and measures.
• Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleansing.
• Understanding of ETL processes, with the ability to integrate, cleanse, and transform data from various sources.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles, including creating relationships between tables, optimizing model performance, and creating reusable data structures.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Power BI Dashboards: · Create interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear insights for business users.
• Create Custom Data Visualizations: · Utilize Power BI’s functionality to create custom charts, graphs, and visuals tailored to specific business needs.
• Build and Maintain Data Models: · Design efficient data models within Power BI to support self-service reporting for users.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers: · Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure that data sources are integrated properly into Power BI, and that the underlying infrastructure supports report generation.
• ETL Processes and Data Preparation: · Collaborate on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure that data is clean, structured, and optimized for reporting purposes.
• Optimize Power BI Performance: · Improve the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards by optimizing queries, managing data refresh schedules, and using appropriate data modeling techniques.
• Develop and Maintain DAX Queries: · Write and optimize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries to build complex calculations, measures, and KPIs that provide critical insights.
• Provide End-User Support: · Work with end users to ensure they can effectively use Power BI reports and dashboards, providing training and support where necessary.
• Document Solutions and Best Practices: · Maintain clear documentation of Power BI reports, data models, and ETL processes to ensure knowledge transfer and system scalability.
• Stay Up to Date with Power BI Features: · Keep abreast of new Power BI features, updates, and capabilities, and continuously apply this knowledge to improve the company's reporting and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate on BI Strategy: · Contribute to the company’s overall Business Intelligence (BI) strategy by providing input on new tools, technologies, and best practices that can enhance the company’s reporting capabilities.
