Graduate Assistant Statistics Peer Tutor (Remote)

Current Walden student enrolled in a doctoral program. Demonstrated expertise and completed graduate-level statistics coursework (RSCH 8210 or equivalent). 3+ years demonstrated work experience utilizing statistics on a regular basis preferred. Superb knowledge of graduate-level statistics, college-level statistics content, and statistics study skills. Ability to provide positive, constructive feedback to adult students. Experience teaching or learning in online learning management systems preferred. Experience with additional analytical software preferred. Ability to adapt to all levels of learners and use different learning strategies. Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations. Demonstrated experience with SPSS and familiarity with Office 365 suite. Superb analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. Strong writing skills for professional email correspondence.

Provide instructional tutoring to students in statistics via WC Online and Zoom. Correspond with students professionally via email. Contribute to statistics resource development and attend team meetings. Commit approximately 40 hours per month to the role. Attend program and content training. Attend weekly peer tutor meetings.
