Senior účetní / Senior Accountant

Master's or Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or similar (economics, administration). Good knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations; IFRS knowledge is a plus. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, advanced Excel knowledge. Good written and spoken Czech and English. Knowledge of project accounting. Knowledge of manufacturing accounting. Good organizational, planning, and time management skills. Excellent initiative and strong analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Ability to occasionally work with colleagues in different time zones. Proactive and engaged approach to tasks. 3+ years of experience as a senior accountant in an international company. Team management experience. Experience with ERP systems; D365 is a plus.

Prepare journal entries and manage balance sheet accounts. Reconcile profit and loss statements and prepare related analyses. Coordinate daily department activities. Prepare tax documents and monthly VAT returns. Manage tax audits and support annual tax return preparation. Prepare monthly accounting statements according to company policies and local regulations. Oversee monthly closings and ensure deadlines are met. Manage audits and support group audit requirements. Identify and implement financial process improvements. Monitor compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls. Prepare regular or ad hoc reports for external and internal requests.
