Requirements:
Active Veterinary License in good standing in at least one of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, ID, MO, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX, VT, VA, WA. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience preferred. Valid liability Insurance for all services provided. Excellent Communication: Able to explain medical terms in simple, empathetic language, both verbally and in writing. Commitment to Quality: Detail-oriented, ethical, and always putting patient welfare first. Availability: 2–10 hours per week from a desktop computer.
Responsibilities:
Provide remote video consultations and evaluate patient medical data. Establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR). Develop care plans, prescribe medications, and provide guidance to pet parents. Refer for in-person care when necessary. Share educational insights and resources with pet parents. Obtain informed consent and maintain compliant medical records. Adhere to all laws, regulations, and best practices in telemedicine. Collaborate with a mission-driven team and receive support from medical leadership.
