- 5+years of experience in employment/labor law, with 1+ year in-house with a tech company preferred
- J.D. and admission to the state bar, or the ability to practice law in-house, in the state in which you reside.

- Support the People Team and the Americas Chief Legal Officer in the management and handling of all labor and employment-related topics across 30+ US states and Canada and throughout the lifecycle of the employee, including, but not limited to: advising on labor and employment laws, rules, and regulations impacting both applicants and employees; reviewing disciplinary actions and terminations; coordinating and owning internal investigations; working in partnership with the People Team on accommodations, benefits, and leaves of absence.
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders on projects including annual incentive plans, commission plans, equity administration, and due diligence/audit requests.
- Own, monitor and update employment-related policies and programs (including, but not limited to, Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, etc) with an eye towards best market practices and Company needs. This includes delivering trainings such as Annual Harassment Prevention training with a positive employee experience.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and reduce employment-related risks, with a comfort around negotiation with former employees and/or counsel where required.
- Manage outside counsel in employment-related litigation.
- File annual reports, including EEO-1, OSHA, California Pay Data, etc.
