Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
- 15-18 years of experience in fintech or product based organization information security
- 5-8 years in a leadership role within fintech or product based organization
- Proven track record of establishing and managing security operations in a high-growth, regulated environment
- Deep understanding of application and product security (secure development, vulnerability management, VPAT compliance)
- Proven experience with endpoint security and device management (laptops, mobile devices, MDM, EDR) across a distributed workforce
- Strong understanding of securing cloud infrastructure (identity management, network security, compliance)
- Knowledge of protection measures for large-scale security threats (DDoS mitigation, fraud prevention, incident response)
- Experience establishing and enforcing security policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing organization-wide incident response processes
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in crisis management and incident response within a digital asset context
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy
- Establish, develop, and lead a high-performing security team
- Serve as the primary liaison with external stakeholders (regulators, auditors)
- Act as company spokesperson on security matters
- Design and implement robust security architectures
- Oversee deployment of advanced threat detection and response systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001:2022)
- Lead the response to security incidents
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments
- Stay informed on global regulatory developments
- Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement and regulatory agencies
