Founding Software Engineer (Backend)

Strong experience in backend development using Python. Familiarity with at least one statically typed language (Go, Rust, Java, C#). Solid understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL; hands-on SQL preferred over ORMs. Experience designing and consuming clean, scalable APIs. Familiarity with asynchronous systems (e.g., pipelines, workflow engines, task queues). Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and deployment to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure). Experience in B2B SaaS environments with exposure to auth systems, user management, and internal ops tooling.

Build and maintain high-performance backend systems, favoring direct SQL and clean API architecture (RPC preferred). Lead development of asynchronous, queue-based pipelines powering AI audit functionality. Help architect safe, scalable RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems. Contribute to backend features across user management, authentication, and internal tools. Participate in experiments, prototype evaluations, and data analysis. Influence product and technical decisions as a core member of the founding team. Support infrastructure work and CI/CD using Terraform and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
