B.S., in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent 2-5 years of experience in the design and development of aircraft environmental control systems Experience with bid, proposal, and project capture activities Knowledge of environmental control systems common in modern Part 23 / Part 25 business aircraft Knowledge of FAR Part 23 certification requirements and processes Knowledge and experience with RTCA D-160G and SAE ARP4754A Knowledge of industry standards and hands-on experience Overall knowledge of mechanical systems, propulsion, structures and key interfaces to environmental control systems Experience managing supplier relationships Minimum of 500 hours utilizing CATIA V5, V6, or 3dx Experience with fabrication methods of high and low pressure metallic tubing and ducting, and composite ducting Experience with ASME Y14.100 Drawings and Y14.5 GD&T Experience with model and drawing checking, engineering part and model release, and engineering change process Active Listening Critical Thinking Organization Problem Solving Self-Motivation Teamwork and Team Building Strong Business Communication
