Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- 4+ years of selling experience in the enterprise space
- Deep understanding of security, cloud software, automation, networking, and control systems
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems
- Excel at selling complex solutions and navigating customer evaluations/deployments
- Analyze customer requirements, prioritize feature requests, and champion collaboration
- Develop compelling financial models and business justifications
- Experience leading complex projects and fostering collaboration
- Experience with APIs and/or scripting languages like Python (ideal)
- Familiarity with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) (ideal)
- Experience with Routing, Navigation, Commercial Trucking Fleets, and Logistics (ideal)
- Ability to support North American and European time zones (ideal)
- Proficiency in additional languages like Spanish/French (ideal)
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals
- Match customer pain points and requirements to proposed solutions
- Establish customer relationships and gain trust
- Work in multiple levels of the technology stack
- Handle hardware deployment and installation for POCs
- Manage SaaS dashboard setup and advanced use
- Perform custom reporting and integrations via API
- Mentor other SEs on the team
- Contribute strong team support (technical, industry knowledge, training)
- Champion and role model Samsara’s cultural principles
