Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Remote

10+ years of working with Data Processing Technologies, preferably on the Cloud, with experience in Designing and Coding. 5+ Years leading engineering teams of over 10+ people (tech-lead, principal engineer, or managerial). 5+ Years performing cost analysis, performance tuning, and code optimization on Cloud Data Platforms. Record of launching successful cloud data processing applications with security best practices, cloud design patterns, and automation (Devops). 5+ Years of experience with Scala/Java, Spark, AWS/Azure or GCP, Airflow/DataFactory, Snowflake/AWS Athena/BigQuery, EKS/EC2/Lambda-Serverless, and Terraform.

Manage and expand the engineering team building a Cloud Data Platform ecosystem. Oversee global engineering teams located in multiple regions. Act as a technical lead, breaking down complex problems and driving team vision. Communicate timelines, challenges, and project needs to product partners. Oversee the platform's budget and monitor operational expenses.
