Requirements:

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a hands-on financial leader for early-stage companies, helping them close books, build budgets, and establish financial processes from scratch.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to portfolio CEOs, acting as a thought partner on growth, unit economics, and business modeling.
  • Support fundraising efforts for portfolio companies, including preparing financial models, investor materials, and due diligence processes.
  • Partner with the CEO to guide Shaper’s financial strategy, growth opportunities, and new venture development.
  • Lead M&A initiatives, providing strategic and financial insights to support acquisitions and integrations.
  • Manage Shaper’s internal financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Build and manage a high-performing finance team over time, both at Shaper and within portfolio companies as they scale.
  • Implement financial systems, processes, and tools that support efficient scaling across the Shaper ecosystem.
