Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience in machine learning engineering, software engineering, data science, or similar roles.
• A required bachelor’s degree; advanced degree (M.S. or PhD) preferred and may substitute for experience.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) for machine learning.
• Deep understanding of the machine learning lifecycle and its infrastructure needs.
• Technical expertise in software engineering principles, machine learning techniques, infrastructure as code (Terraform), REST API design, and programming in Python.
• Experience with AWS microservices, containerization technologies, and multimodal data processing.

Responsibilities:

• Adopt a 'lead by example' approach by actively coding and troubleshooting, creating documentation and technical diagrams.
• Serve as a mentor and guide to engineers, teaching and helping them grow.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in ML Engineering.
• Ensure delivery of superior infrastructure and software exceeding customer expectations.
• Forge partnerships with product managers, data scientists, and leadership for effective collaboration.
• Champion cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in the AI/ML space.
