Requirements

  • Experience in a Sales or Business Development role within a high growth organization, preferably with startups.
  • Outstanding communication skills including phone and written communication.
  • Self-starter with a record of overachieving against quotas.
  • Rigorous knowledge of sales methodologies and processes.
  • Experience selling to developers and engineering leadership.
  • Prior experience selling commercial services/products based on open source platforms is a plus.
  • Strong ability to articulate and sell business value.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Achieve daily and weekly prospecting targets to build a favorable pipeline.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting mid-market accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with teams to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Focus on accurate forecasting and maintaining coverage across commitments.
  • Work with leadership to close deals and track sales activities in CRM.
  • Follow established sales methodologies and execute defined sales plays.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitors to inform sales tactics.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets to support company growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
