Requirements
- Experience in a Sales or Business Development role within a high growth organization, preferably with startups.
- Outstanding communication skills including phone and written communication.
- Self-starter with a record of overachieving against quotas.
- Rigorous knowledge of sales methodologies and processes.
- Experience selling to developers and engineering leadership.
- Prior experience selling commercial services/products based on open source platforms is a plus.
- Strong ability to articulate and sell business value.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach.
- Achieve daily and weekly prospecting targets to build a favorable pipeline.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting mid-market accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with teams to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Focus on accurate forecasting and maintaining coverage across commitments.
- Work with leadership to close deals and track sales activities in CRM.
- Follow established sales methodologies and execute defined sales plays.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitors to inform sales tactics.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets to support company growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
