Requirements

  • Licensed mental health professional preferred.
  • Experience with youth and young adults preferred.
  • Master’s degree in mental health or related field.
  • Experience and training in an experiential modality (adventure, expressive therapy, etc.).
  • Technical ability to run effective Telehealth sessions.
  • Reliable WiFi connection for client meetings.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based communication software such as Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, as well as EMR and outcomes survey software.
  • Work authorized in the United States.
  • Native or bilingual English proficiency.
  • Availability for at least 9 hours a week, including at least 2 evenings from 3-9pm MST Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly group therapy via Telehealth.
  • Develop creative ways to conduct experiential group treatment virtually.
  • Assist with the creation of experiential therapy curriculum by submitting weekly group session plans.
  • Contribute to treatment team, group supervision, and curriculum planning meetings.
  • Ensure clinical services are delivered according to best practices.
  • Continuously further knowledge of psychosocial functioning of groups.
  • Use thoughtful risk management.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner and ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain and model professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
