Requirements
- Licensed mental health professional preferred.
- Experience with youth and young adults preferred.
- Master’s degree in mental health or related field.
- Experience and training in your experiential modality including, but not limited to: adventure, experiential, expressive therapy, creative therapy, recreation therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, sociometry, or psychodrama.
- Technical ability to run effective Telehealth sessions.
- Reliable WiFi connection when meeting with clients.
- Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox— in addition to EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.
- Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly group therapy via Telehealth.
- Develop creative ways to conduct experiential group treatment virtually.
- Assist with the creation of experiential therapy curriculum by submitting weekly group session plans.
- Contribute to treatment team, group supervision, and curriculum planning meetings.
- Ensure your clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices.
- Continuously further your knowledge of psychosocial functioning of groups.
- Use thoughtful risk management.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.
- Complete documentation in a timely manner and be accurate and well-written.
- Maintain and model professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
