Requirements:
Licensed mental health professional preferred. Experience with youth and young adults preferred. Master’s degree in mental health or related field. Experience and training in your experiential modality including, but not limited to: adventure, experiential, expressive therapy, creative therapy, recreation therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, sociometry, or psychodrama. Technical ability to run effective Telehealth sessions. Reliable WiFi connection when meeting with clients. Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox— in addition to EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis. Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate weekly group therapy via Telehealth. Develop creative ways to conduct experiential group treatment virtually. Assist with the creation of experiential therapy curriculum by submitting weekly group session plans. Contribute to treatment team, group supervision, and curriculum planning meetings. Ensure your clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices. Continuously further your knowledge of psychosocial functioning of groups. Use thoughtful risk management. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents. Complete documentation in a timely manner and be accurate and well-written. Maintain and model professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
