- Strong knowledge and experience working with ISO Markets, ETRM, Renewable, and Market Operations.
- Good understanding of energy markets, REC Registries, & ISOs
- Familiarity with market dynamics, regulatory environments, and energy trading.
- An understanding of forecast optimization techniques and their application to simulation software.
- Experience with market operations.
- Ability to translate market insights into requirements.
- Strong skills for building requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Outstanding analytical abilities to use data to make recommendations.
- Proven customer service skills with ability not just to meet but exceed customer expectations.
- Proven ability to lead, manage and work with remote teams.

- Experience with high levels of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a consistently fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in modeling and optimization software required.
- In-depth understanding of energy markets, including electricity and gas markets a plus.
- Product management or business analyst experience preferred.
- Advanced degree in engineering, mathematics, quantitative economics or similar is advantageous to the role.

- Be responsible for discovering new customer requirements, validating their needs, and integrating these into a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap.
- Develop a strategic roadmap to drive expansion within the existing customer base, and drive product adoption across new customer segments.
- Translate strategic directions into functional specifications for new product features and enhancements.
- Review and action customer and internally submitted enhancement requests.
- Work closely with our sales, technical sales, and customer success teams during the sales and renewal processes as well as customer escalations.
- Provide guidance to customers on best practices and recommended implementation of the product features.
- Prioritize the backlog based on feature requests, user reported issues, and evolutionary direction of the simulation engine.
- Represent the state of the product and product direction to internal and external stakeholders including vision/roadmap presentations.
- Work closely with development, UX design, and QA teams to ensure features are well defined, implemented, and tested effectively. Act as the optimization/modelling expert for these teams.
- Interface with internal teams to optimize products and prioritize their development needs.
