Engineering at Checkr

As an engineer at Checkr, you will solve complex problems with a direct impact on people's lives, using technology to reduce bias and enhance fairness in hiring. You will work on an AI-native platform, utilizing languages and tools like Ruby on Rails, Golang, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Sagemaker. The engineering team focuses on developing new features for bias reduction, applying machine learning to identity matching and charge classification, and building scalable SaaS capabilities for enterprise clients. You will contribute to open-source projects and address the challenges of managing messy and slow background check processes through intuitive interfaces and robust workflow frameworks.
