  • Mechanical Trade Certificate or Mechanical Engineering Qualification.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within diving operations.
  • Strong technical background in maintaining subsea diving systems.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, including TM Master V2 and report writing.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in challenging environments.
  • Strong understanding of HSEQ standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, industry regulators and industry standards.

  • Complete maintenance of DOF Australia owned diving and auxiliary equipment.
  • Assist during the inspection, certification, and PMS of relevant diving equipment in accordance with DOF Operations Manuals, DOF Offshore Competence and Assurance Scheme and IMCA Guidelines.
  • Maintain a complete and up-to-date awareness of statutory and regulatory requirements relating to inspection, testing and certification of Diving related equipment, information, and Data management.
  • Raise Material Requisitions as and when required with a timely supply of equipment.
  • Mentor and guide Subsea Asset Technicians, ensuring high-quality work standards and actively supporting their professional development and career progression within the company.

  • Degree or diploma in Hydrographic surveying with a Surveyor Certification.
  • Experience with offshore survey methods and vessel mobilizations.
  • Proficient with survey systems like EIVA Navipac 4, Naviscan 4, HiPAP, and USBL.
  • Strong understanding of Survey and Geomatics principles.
  • Experience with AUV, ROV, diving surveys, MBES, geophysical surveys, and GIS is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience as a 1st/2nd/3rd Engineer (OOW Engineers) within the Offshore Marine industry.
  • Must have an Officer in Charge Engineer Watchkeeper COC or OOW Engineer COC III/1.
  • Current AMSA and/or Norwegian medical or similar certification.
  • DP maintenance certificate is beneficial.
  • BOSIET CAEBS and MISC training required.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Must be service-minded, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented.
  • Ability to travel at short notice is required.
