Junior Business Development Officer

Support the BDO in originating SBA, equipment leasing, and ABL financing for small businesses.
Build and maintain relationships with customers and brokers.
Assist with prospecting, outreach, and tracking new opportunities.
Use Salesforce to track leads, opportunities, and accounts and keep the pipeline accurate.
Perform pre-underwriting due diligence and credit analysis, and prepare credit files and checklists for underwriting.
Keep borrowers, brokers, and internal teams informed during underwriting.
Follow up with borrowers on closing checklist items and coordinate closing logistics and document delivery.
Help obtain signed commitments after approval and coordinate funding with the Operations team.
Support post-closing relationship and marketing efforts.
Provide general administrative support to the BDO.
