Part-Time Senior Oncology Data Specialist ODS-C/CTR

Must be the proud recipient of a CTR (ODS-C) Certification. Must have at least 2+ years of experience abstracting with an ODS certification. Direct data abstraction experience in the Cancer Registry. Exposure to patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases. Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Excel). Know how to evaluate concordance with cancer program accreditation standards. Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Hold high standards for accuracy and attention to detail. Technical savvy and interest in learning new systems and technology. Organized and adept at managing time across multiple accounts and shifting priorities.

Ensure quality submission of data in specified registries, maintaining high accuracy. Support partners' CoC Accreditation process through strong cancer registry operations. Engage in educational opportunities, including on-the-job learning and continuing education. Stay updated on mandated data requirements specified by relevant agencies. Contribute to team best practices and identify process improvement opportunities.
