Requirements
- Proven track record of at least 3 years of professional software development using Go or C++
- Experience working with RESTful APIs or asynchronous messaging protocols
- Experience with Containers (docker, kubernetes)
- Experience with Linux distributions
- Experience with Snap, debian, or RPM packaging
- Experience with Shell scripting
- Experience with CI/CD (Github Actions, Gitlab CI, etc)
- Experience with IoT frameworks and protocols
- Experience with Real-time applications
- Experience with AI/ML inference frameworks
- Experience with Hardware accelerators: GPU, NPU
- Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain open source IoT application packages
- Debug issues and produce high quality code
- Review code produced by upstream and/or other engineers
- Experiment with Ubuntu Core and showcase industry-grade IoT solutions
- Secure deployment of IoT platforms on Linux
- Build optimized AI solutions for local inferencing on Ubuntu
