Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of experience building, deploying, and scaling production-grade software systems.
- Bring strong foundations in backend engineering, services, data modeling, and distributed systems.
- Have deep expertise in at least one technical area and willingness to broaden knowledge across the engineering stack.
- Be proficient in one or more relevant backend technologies, such as Python, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Understand high-concurrency systems.
- Have experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Have experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Understand software architecture, system reliability, performance optimization, and scalable solution design.
- Have expertise in at least one of data engineering, distributed systems, AI and machine learning, or backend engineering.
- For data engineering expertise, have experience with Spark, Kafka, Flink, BigQuery, large-scale ETL, or streaming data pipelines.
- For AI and machine learning expertise, have hands-on production experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, fine-tuned models, or optimized inference systems.
- Bring a product-oriented mindset and a proactive, autonomous approach to problem-solving and technical ownership.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop core software systems, making technical decisions across the technology stack.
- Own feature development from technical design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, prompt execution, agentic systems, and fine-tuned models, into production workflows.
- Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems and make pragmatic infrastructure and architecture decisions.
- Develop high-performance APIs, backend services, and internal interfaces.
- Design and improve data-processing systems, distributed architectures, and real-time pipelines for information across text, audio, and video.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
- Deliver features, gather user feedback, and iterate to improve functionality and performance.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, technical standards, and infrastructure decisions.
