Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience building and scaling production systems.
- Bring strong backend fundamentals, including services, data models, and distributed systems.
- Have deeper expertise in one or more technical areas and a desire to expand your breadth.
- Be comfortable building quickly, shipping, and iterating based on user feedback.
- Have experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD.
- Be familiar with AWS or GCP, Docker or Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bring depth in at least one area: data engineering, distributed systems, AI/ML, or backend engineering.
- For data engineering depth: experience with Spark, Kafka, Flink, BigQuery, streaming pipelines, or ETL at scale.
- For distributed systems depth: experience with high-volume scaling, fault tolerance, or eventual consistency.
- For AI/ML depth: experience putting LLMs into production, RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning, or inference optimization.
- For backend depth: experience with Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, or high-concurrency systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build core systems.
- Drive key decisions across the technology stack and own feature development end-to-end.
- Integrate LLMs and ML models into real-world workflows, including RAG pipelines, embeddings, prompt execution, agentic systems, and fine-tuned models.
- Build systems designed to scale as the company grows, balancing investment with practical needs.
- Develop performant APIs and services that power the product.
- Ensure APIs and services are reliable, secure, and provide a seamless customer experience.
