Requirements
- Have strong professional experience developing backend services and web applications with Golang.
- Have experience deploying services in Docker containers.
- Have strong experience building componentized frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
- Be able to write performant SQL and work with data-intensive applications and relational databases.
- Understand clean-code principles and idiomatic Go and TypeScript.
- Be able to learn a new business domain and product independently and apply that knowledge to technical and product decisions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work US Eastern Time hours.
- Experience with Go goroutines, GitLab CI, Prometheus, Grafana, AI tools, MaterialUI, Airflow, Python, or Terraform is beneficial or welcome.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance Golang microservices and frontend applications.
- Build performant, component-based user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Own features from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
- Evaluate architectural options and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs.
- Improve application and service performance, reliability, and observability.
- Raise engineering quality through code reviews, automation, process improvements, and clean-code practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
