- Bring senior-level experience with a track record of increasing scope and responsibility.
- Have strong backend and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Use sound judgment around architecture, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Take a product-minded approach, including interest in customer conversations, product specifications, and iteration based on feedback.
- Have modern technology experience and strong communication skills.
- Have a degree in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering, or equivalent fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, reliable backend systems for customer-facing data activation features.
- Improve data warehouse performance through query optimization, precomputed state, and warehouse-specific approaches.
- Develop analytics and experimentation capabilities that help customers create and evaluate audiences.
- Explore real-time audience computation and syncing as data platforms adopt change data capture and fresher data patterns.
- Partner on product specifications and engage with customers.
- Use customer feedback to improve workflows, including opportunities to apply generative AI.
