11+ years minimum, 8+ years in Solution/Technical Architecture

Requirements

  • Have 11+ years of experience in enterprise technology roles.
  • Have 8+ years owning solution architecture on client-facing, multi-workstream programs.
  • Have experience as a client-facing architecture owner, defending design decisions to VP/C-level stakeholders and formal governance bodies.
  • Bring current fluency in modern application architecture, API and integration design, cloud infrastructure, and non-functional requirements.
  • Be able to architect technology-agnostically on the stack ultimately selected.
  • Have hands-on experience directing or prompting AI coding agents, such as Claude Code or an equivalent agentic development tool.
  • Have a track record of turning ambiguous, evolving requirements into a defensible, phased architecture.
  • Preferred: Enterprise architecture certification such as TOGAF, or a relevant cloud/platform architect certification.
  • Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare distribution, or another regulated industry.

Responsibilities

  • Own the account’s end-to-end solution architecture and align it with business goals and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Define and defend the target-state architecture and roadmap to client executives and governance forums.
  • Drive technical design decisions across application architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud infrastructure, and non-functional requirements.
  • Set coding standards, design patterns, and technology choices once the stack is confirmed.
  • Review and approve high-level designs before implementation and provide final sign-off on architecture decisions and technical design changes.
  • Evaluate and integrate tools, frameworks, and AI-agent development capabilities into the delivery model.
  • Direct AI coding agents for architecture proofs of concept, technical spikes, and feasibility validation.
  • Partner with the Tech Product Manager and Delivery Lead to align architecture with delivery timelines and priorities.
  • Mentor the India-based Principal Architect and Solution Architect to maintain a coherent architecture across delivery locations.
  • Escalate cross-cutting architectural risks and represent the account to client engineering leadership.
