- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a Financial Business Systems, Technical IT Consulting, IT, or related role with a focus on integrations, IT infrastructure, and system interoperability.
Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or in Financial Business Systems, Technical IT Consulting, IT, or a related role focused on integrations, IT infrastructure, and system interoperability.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of SAP environments, including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Integration Suite entitlements, and Public versus Private Cloud deployment models.
- Have experience with ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA or ECC, including configuration, integration, or migration of ERP modules.
- Understand IT infrastructure and the needs and pain points relevant to positioning FloQast.
- Have experience with cloud storage systems and administration in a team setting.
- Have experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and administration in a team setting.
- Understand SAP data dictionaries and standard SAP table structures, such as ACDOCA.
- Have experience implementing or supporting SAP API integrations, including OData/RESTful APIs, and secure file exchange using SFTP.
- Communicate technical IT concepts to technical and non-technical audiences in customer meetings and written communications.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced sales environment and manage tight deadlines and changing demands.
- Be able to travel up to 25%.
- Nice to have a degree in IT, Business Systems, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field.
- Nice to have familiarity with regex, JSON, Python, or SQL.
- Nice to have experience publishing or updating technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Explain FloQast’s SAP integration strategy across SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud and legacy ECC environments.
- Advise prospects on pre-built and custom APIs, SAP connectors, SFTP, and SAML.
- Join late-stage sales opportunities to demonstrate integration requirements and support technical approval.
- Collaborate with Sales on next steps for securing technical buy-in.
- Design and validate integration workflows using Direct APIs, On-Premise Connectors, and Public API endpoints.
- Consult on SAP job orchestration, T-code execution, and month-end close optimization.
- Work with customer IT teams to map financial data requirements to SAP structures, including trial balances, GL transactions, subledgers, and custom tables.
- Coordinate with Product and Engineering on integration needs and gaps identified during sales processes.
- Prepare proof-of-concept integrations and FloQast test environments when needed.
- Maintain customer-facing integration guides and support the sales team with integration questions.
