Requirements
- Aerospace and defense engineering, program, or operations leadership experience at a prime or major Tier 1.
- Experience owning enterprise strategy or transformation programs inside complex A&D organizations.
- Fluency in the A&D procurement process.
- Ability to engage as a peer with program executives and engineering leaders.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to read executive audiences.
- Strong commercial and operational acumen.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities and workflow friction into business outcomes and a path forward.
- Clear, direct writing and presentation skills, including building compelling decks under pressure.
- Fluency with AI as a force multiplier and understanding of A&D customer guardrails for its use.
- An active or prior security clearance is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Define the A&D playbook, including priority segments, routes to program and engineering leaders, and land-and-expand sequences.
- Co-own enterprise deal strategy for strategic A&D opportunities with the Head of Aerospace & Defense and account executives.
- Build value cases, executive narratives, and deal decks tied to program outcomes.
- Run executive, program, and engineering workshops to surface transformation goals, identify design-review breakdowns, and build a case for change.
- Coach champions and align stakeholders across engineering, program management, quality and mission assurance, IT and security, contracts, and executive teams.
- Partner with internal teams and customer IT and security stakeholders on ITAR, CMMC, FedRAMP, and ATO requirements.
- Translate market shifts and account-winning patterns into positioning and plays for the revenue team.
- Synthesize strategic account signals into product feedback and validate product concepts with customers.
- Support the Director of Industry Strategy & Transformation with A&D market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights.
