Requirements
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL and data querying languages.
- Bring familiarity with data lakehouse platforms such as Databricks, Delta Lake, or AWS S3.
- Understand data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
- Have experience with BI tools for dashboard creation, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Be able to translate business requirements into data models and metrics.
- Know ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration.
- Communicate with stakeholders and extract and understand requirements.
- Familiarity with procurement and supply chain data sets is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather detailed data requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to define technical data ingestion and transformation requirements.
- Translate complex data concepts into clear business insights.
- Develop processes to ensure data quality and consistency across data lakehouse layers.
- Support data governance initiatives, including lineage, access controls, and compliance.
