Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of professional experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar accounting position.
- Have a strong understanding of accounts receivable operations, client billing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage high transaction volumes and independently investigate and resolve complex account discrepancies.
- Be proficient with NetSuite or a comparable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Have strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities, manage competing deadlines, and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume client billing, invoice processing, and account maintenance.
- Reconcile client accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies, billing issues, outstanding balances, and short payments.
- Collaborate with Client Services and Finance teams to address client inquiries and account-related issues.
- Oversee client billing setups and updates, maintaining accurate invoicing information and account records.
- Support month-end closing through invoicing, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve reporting, strengthen internal controls, and optimize accounts receivable processes.
- Maintain financial documentation and support internal and external audits.
