Bring senior-level, hands-on experience building backend services and designing, developing, and integrating APIs.
Have strong practical experience building backend services in AWS environments.
Have experience with AWS Lambda and Infrastructure as Code; familiarity with AWS CDK is expected.
Have experience integrating third-party APIs and connecting external services to internal systems or infrastructure.
Have working knowledge of Python and/or TypeScript.
Be able to understand an existing architecture and build components that fit into it.
Have practical experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, code analysis, testing, and validation.
Have experience applying the AWS Well-Architected Framework in production systems.
Have strong written and verbal English communication skills at C1 level.
Be able to work independently, manage ambiguity, ask questions early, and take responsibility for delivering high-quality work.

Design and build HTTP APIs connecting third-party services with internal AWS components.
Develop payroll integrations and onboard employer and payroll partners, primarily through the Finch API abstraction.
Build backend components for financial management and money movement, including integrations with external financial services such as Modern Treasury.
Develop, maintain, and improve AWS-based services using Infrastructure as Code and AWS CDK.
Contribute to platform architecture using AWS Well-Architected Framework principles, with attention to reliability, supportability, and cost effectiveness.
Use AI-assisted development tools for code analysis, implementation, reviews, testing, and validation.
Own assigned components from requirements clarification and solution discovery through implementation and delivery.
Collaborate with Product, Program Management, Partnerships, and technical colleagues, communicating technical needs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Help keep the platform and integrations maintainable, supportable, and ready to scale.
