Requirements
- Have experience leading engineering teams, including hiring, people development, performance, and delivery management.
- Have experience leading teams in AI, ML, or data-driven engineering environments.
- Have experience training models independently.
- Bring a strong technical background and hands-on development experience.
- Be able to validate technical decisions independently.
- Have experience taking AI-powered products or services from concept to production.
- Measure product or service impact through A/B tests or other metrics.
- Translate ambiguous business and product requirements into clear technical solutions and priorities.
- Collaborate across teams with Product, Data, and business stakeholders.
- Have English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the team across hiring, planning, task decomposition, process improvements, and cross-team collaboration.
- Own and drive internal AI platform development from concept to production, keeping platforms reliable as adoption grows.
- Turn recurring product-team needs into reusable platform capabilities.
- Drive strong team performance and reliable, on-time delivery aligned with company and business goals.
- Partner with Product, Data, AI, and internal platform users to understand needs and drive adoption.
- Evaluate, integrate, and extend open-source solutions, making build-versus-adopt decisions.
- Shape the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations.
