  • Have written and shipped code regularly over the past year, with or without AI.
  • Have built software for professional users who adopted it because it saved them time.
  • Be able to set priorities and a roadmap with little management or an established playbook.
  • Be able to change course based on evidence and sell product strategy to engineers, faculty, and university leaders.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with product analytics, Figma, SQL, and AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
  • Preferred: Founder experience or early-employee experience at a hyperscaling company.
  • Preferred: Experience building products adopted first by individuals and later purchased by organizations.
  • Preferred: Experience with learning management systems, LTI integrations, or other edtech infrastructure.
  • Preferred: Experience with systems that integrate with institutions such as universities.

Responsibilities

  • Own the CodePath EDU product end-to-end.

  • Use AI across product workflows, including prototypes, requirements, evaluations of shipped AI features, and usage-data analysis.
  • Partner with Higher Education Partnerships on campus adoption, expansion, and deeper institutional partnerships.
  • Provide product evidence for the Higher Education Partnerships team to bring to university leaders.
  • Define metrics including active instructors, instructor retention between semesters, students reached through partner faculty, and hours saved per instructor.
  • Set a high bar for design quality so faculty can use the product easily on their first try.
