Requirements
- Have 6+ years of experience delivering and maintaining complex distributed systems in production environments.
- Bring advanced proficiency in AWS ecosystems and Terraform for building reproducible environments.
- Have strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and GitOps workflows.
- Have strong Python coding skills for infrastructure automation and operational tools.
- Have experience implementing Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry at scale.
- Understand cloud security, API gateways, load balancing, and network isolation.
- Nice to have: direct experience in fintech, payments, card networks, tokenization, identity, or secure infrastructure.
- Nice to have: experience designing mandate, credential-provisioning, authentication, attestation, or cryptogram-based workflows.
- Nice to have: experience applying AI developer tools or agentic automation to engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build Python 3.13+ and FastAPI services for secure, production-critical agentic payment flows.
- Design APIs and domain models for card enrollment, token provisioning, purchase intents, mandates, device attestation, OTP flows, confirmations, and cryptogram retrieval.
- Implement security, scalability, availability, performance, and developer experience practices for payment and cryptographic workflows.
- Apply consistent error handling, traceability, structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing using OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
- Design extensible provisioning workflows using Kubernetes APIs and Custom Resource Definitions.
- Define unit, integration, acceptance, and end-to-end testing strategies, including canary-safe production validation.
- Participate in technical design reviews, identify risks, and deliver features to production.
- Apply AI-assisted development and agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product, Security, Infrastructure, Platform, and external card-network partners.
