Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Demonstrate strong coding ability; Go experience is a plus but not required.
- Have solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
- Have experience with a major cloud technology: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Have experience building high-scale distributed systems and backend architectures.
- Be interested in debugging and troubleshooting complex distributed systems problems.
- Kafka expertise is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Build tooling to manage and monitor thousands of servers running dozens of services.
- Develop host provisioning and configuration capabilities.
- Enable rapid code deployment.
- Build service configuration and monitoring tools.
- Automate code testing and linting.
- Own infrastructure powering real-time data pipelines.
