Requirements
- Master the core pharmacy technician skills, including processing claims and dispensing medications.
- Have experience navigating specialty medication benefits investigation.
- Have experience with prior authorization.
- Have experience with financial assistance.
- Be comfortable engaging with patients, providers, and care team members in person and over the phone.
- Bring self-motivation and a sense of urgency for quality resolution.
- Identify proactive solutions and more efficient workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead customer-facing calls and oversee completion of implementation steps.
- Manage implementation projects through customer calls, timely follow-up, and project management tools.
- Coordinate with sales and program managers to communicate implementation progress and blockers.
- Work with leadership to improve implementation processes for credentialing, IT workstreams, and related activities.
- Coordinate with clinic teams and clinical operations to streamline processes and workflows.
- Track patient prescriptions and packages, troubleshoot carrier issues, and monitor assigned work queues.
- Troubleshoot claim processing, payment processing, and equipment issues, escalating as appropriate.
- Triage support issues for the PMS Platform for new and existing clinic partners.
- Liaise among patients, providers, and internal operations teams to resolve issues.
- Support assigned workstreams such as credentialing, legal requirements, accreditation, drug ordering, supply management, and implementation IT.
