Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience as a System Lead or in a similar IT operations/support role.
- Understand IT infrastructure, including databases, servers, cloud platforms, and networking.
- Know IT Service Management and ITIL principles; hold ITIL v3/v4 Fundamentals certification.
- Have working knowledge of AWS Glue, PySpark, Lambda, S3, SNS, Step Functions, and Airflow.
- Know data transformation and modelling using Snowflake and dbt.
- Have advanced Python and SQL skills.
- Know Infrastructure as Code, particularly AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
- Understand CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeBuild.
- Be familiar with data integration tools such as SnapLogic.
- Have experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Have strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Have excellent written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Monitor SLAs, access and identity controls, audit trails, and other operational requirements.
- Maintain operational compliance and required system documentation.
- Coordinate backup, recovery, disaster recovery testing, and infrastructure patching activities.
- Manage incidents, problems, and changes throughout the system lifecycle.
- Implement small software enhancements and configuration changes.
- Coordinate software management and system-related activities across IT and business teams.
- Collect, assess, and process demands from business users.
- Work with Infrastructure teams on system remediation, migration, replacement, and decommissioning.
- Coordinate system archiving and retirement activities.
- Support system onboarding into the EOC and coordinate knowledge transfer and transition reporting.
