Requirements
- Have experience in an analytical or support role within finance, fintech, or banking.
- Understand accounting principles and how they apply to financial transactions in software systems.
- Be proficient in SQL for data analysis, validation, and verification.
- Have experience with documentation tools including Confluence, Jira, MS Excel, and Google Docs.
- Bring a keen eye for detail.
- Bonus: have experience configuring or testing accounting models, including accounting mapping.
- Bonus: have participated in projects integrating processing and accounting systems.
- Bonus: be familiar with financial products for individuals and legal entities, such as credit cards, cash loans, and ATM operations.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and translate requirements for financial transaction processing with business, finance, and risk stakeholders.
- Design and document end-to-end financial transaction flows across processing and accounting systems.
- Provide task breakdowns to software engineering and QA teams.
- Support implementation and rigorous testing of new features with engineering and QA teams.
- Use SQL in regular reconciliation processes to identify and resolve discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
- Prepare and deliver accurate data extracts to support financial audits.
